Logan Square Shooting Wounds Man, 18, During Robbery, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Logan Square wounded an 18-year-old man on Wednesday night, police said.

At 7:38 p.m., the victim was walking in the 2800 block of North Troy Street when a man walked up and said he was robbing the victim, police said.

The victim and the man struggled and the victim was shot in his leg, police said. The man ran away with the victim's property.

The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
