WICKER PARK — Duck confit poutine inspired by Thomas Jefferson, anyone?
Beginning this Friday, more than 300 restaurants will be participating in Chicago Restaurant Week, including West Town's Ada Street and its aforementioned Wisconsin cheese curds topped dish, part of a "First Supper in the White House" menu paying homage to eight presidents.
Chicago Restaurant Week is actually two weeks long and ends Feb. 9.
During these two weeks, restaurants will offer prix fixe menus of $22 for brunch and lunch and $33 or $44 for dinner, excluding drinks, tax and tip.
