DOWNTOWN — Donald Trump will be inaugurated on Friday, and there will be at least two places to watch the festivities from Chicago.

Rebar at Trump Tower — the president-elect's namesake hotel — and Wise Owl will be open for inauguration-watchers.

If you can't make it to the events, you can watch the inauguration online or on a TV. NBC will stream the events starting at 10 a.m.

Here's where to watch from Chicago:

Trump Tower

When: Noon (the bar is opening earlier than usual)

Where: Trump Tower

What: Rebar, the second-floor bar of Trump Tower, will be showing the inauguration events (though it's not a watch party, an event coordinator said). The bar typically opens at 4 p.m. but will open at noon for the event.

Trump Goes to Washington

When: 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday

Where: Wise Owl Drinkery & Cookhouse, 324 S. Racine Ave.

What: You'll be able to see the Inauguration festivities on a 150-inch projection or flatscreen TV at the Wise Owl's watching party. You can get a lunch special for $8 and relax. The event — which is neither pro- nor anti-Trump — is meant to celebrate "the institution of the presidency in and of itself," the restaurant wrote on Eventbrite.
