ANDERSONVILLE — If you're hoping to find a place to quench your Friday thirst, but don't want to get caught up in the Presidential inauguration, Hopleaf Bar in Andersonville might be a good respite.

The eatery and pub at 5148 N. Clark St. said it will be a "Trump-free zone" and won't be airing news related to President-elect Donald Trump taking over the Oval Office.

Instead, the restaurant will focus on serving up drinks and food, with 10 percent of the day's proceeds going to Planned Parenthood.

"This Friday may be an occasion where you'll want to take a drink or two," Hopleaf said on its Facebook page. "With no TVs and no screens, Hopleaf is a Trump-Free Zone. On Inauguration Day we'll be donating 10 percent of the day's drink sale revenues to Planned Parenthood."
