CHICAGO — A shooting in Ukrainian Village killed Marlon Pollard, 36, early Monday, authorities said.
At 1:10 a.m., the man was standing on the street in the 2200 block of West Chicago Avenue when someone in a black SUV fired shots at him, police said.
The man was hit in his face, abdomen and left leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Pollard, of suburban Evanston, was pronounced dead at 2:05 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
He was a documented gang member, a police source said.
No one was in custody.
