CHICAGO — Octavius Hudson, 34, was shot to death in North Lawndale on Sunday, officials said.
At 1:13 a.m., the victim was involved in an argument with another man in the 4700 block of West Polk Street.
The other man shot the victim, who was hit in his chest and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Hudson, of the 300 block of North Lockwood Avenue, was pronounced dead at 2 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
