PORTAGE PARK — The pool and field house at Portage Park, 5400 W. Irving Park Road, have been closed due to a "plumbing issue," park district officials announced Friday.
All aquatic programs have been canceled until the issue is fixed, officials said. Events and classes usually held in the field house, meanwhile, will be relocated to the park's cultural center.
The park's "crews are working to fix the issue," the announcement read.
The park website said the closure was due to a "leak" but did not give further details.
