THE LOOP — Police are warning Loop pedestrians about a pickpocket who's been swiping peoples' stuff around New Year's Eve. 

The suspect bumps into victims before taking their belongings, police said. The crimes occurred at:

•2 p.m. Dec. 31 in the 200 block of South Michigan Avenue

•2 p.m. Jan. 3 in the 200 block of South State Street

•7:10 p.m. Jan. 4 in the 300 block of South State Street.

Police did not have a photo of the suspect. They advise pedestrians to remain aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity. Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to call police at (312) 747-8384.
