BEVERLY — Beverly comedian Pat McGann will make a pair of local television appearances on New Year's Eve.

McGann will be featured as part of WCIU's "Chicago’s One Night Stand-Up." The one-hour show airs at 9 p.m. and also features fellow Chicago comedians Martin Morrow, Michael Larimer, T. Murph, Schmitty B., Kellye Howard, Kristen Lundberg, Alex Kumin, Steven Haas and Michael Issac.

The show was taped earlier this month in front of a live audience at Zanies Comedy Club in Rosemont. It is hosted by comedienne Rebecca O’Neal, who has opened for Janeane Garofalo, "The Daily Show"’s Al Madrigal, "Saturday Night Live"’s Sasheer Zamata and Hannibal Buress.

An encore presentation will air at midnight New Year’s Eve and again at 8 p.m. New Year’s Day on WCIU.

“Chicago has always been a breeding ground for comedy,” said Steve Bailey, WCIU's head of local programming.

McGann also taped a "Roast of 2016" for ABC-7's "Countdown Chicago 2017." The three-minute segment will be part of the annual New Year's Eve show that has been broadcast in Chicago since 1991.

Janet Davies and Mark Giangreco return to host ABC-7's show for the 16th year.
