Lake Shore Drive Traffic Could Be Affected By Lane Closures

CHICAGO — Parts of Lake Shore Drive will be restricted for access due to repair operations on Tuesday and Wednesday.

From 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 27 and 28, the Chicago Department of Transportation will be repairing an electrical hole on Lake Shore Drive at Chicago Avenue, the 2nd Ward Service Office announced via neighborhood notice.

Northbound Outer Lake Shore Drive access from Chicago Avenue will be restricted, as well as access to Chicago Avenue from Northbound Lake Shore Drive. One northbound lane of Lake Shore Drive will also be closed.

All closures will be removed by 3:30 p.m. each day.
