Englewood Shootings Leave 3 Wounded, Police Say

ENGLEWOOD — Separate shootings in Englewood left three men wounded Monday, police said. 

The most recent non-fatal shooting:

At 3:25 p.m., two men, 35 and 20, were in the 5800 block of South May Avenue when someone in a dark colored car shot at them, police said. 

The older man received a graze wound and refused medical treatment, police said.

The younger man, who shot in the back, was taken Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said. 

The non-fatal shooting earlier in the day:

At 10:41 a.m., 24-year-old man was in the 400 block of West Marquette Road when someone in a green minivan pulled up and shot him, police said. 

The man, who was shot in the hand and finger, was taken St. Bernard Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said. 

No one is in custody, police said.
