CHICAGO — Two men were shot in separate shootings in West Englewood Saturday, police said.

At 4:12 p.m., a 35-year-old man was walking down the street in the 6700 block of South Hermitage Avenue when someone in a blue shirt pulled out a gun and fired shots, police said.

He was hit in his back and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition, police said.

The victim was a documented gang member, police said.

At 3:30 p.m., a 25-year-old man was also shot in West Englewood, police said.

He was standing on the corner in the 2000 block of West 68th Place when someone drove by in a vehicle and fired shots, police said.

He was hit in his back and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.
