CHICAGO — A shooting in Humboldt Park wounded two men early Saturday, police said.

At 1:16 a.m., the men were walking outside in the 3400 block of West Beach Avenue when a car drove up and someone inside fired shots at them, police said.

One man, 34, was hit in his leg and stomach and was in serious condition at Stroger Hospital, police said. The other man, 26, was hit in his left ankle and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The 34-year-old man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

No one was in custody.
