CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was critically wounded in a Marquette Park shooting early Friday, according to police.

At 8:37 a.m., the man was walking in the 6300 block of South Rockwell Avenue when two people came from the mouth of an alley and began firing, police said.

The man was struck seven times, including in his back, arm, leg and torso, police said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition.
