CHICAGO — Lanes and ramps along the Stevenson Expressway will be closed Thursday for construction.
The closures are part of construction on the interchange. The project is scheduled to be completed in fall 2017, according to an IDOT news release.
The closures:
• The inbound Stevenson will be reduced to one late 9 a.m. to noon and drivers will be moved to the left lane. The State Street entrance ramp, Martin Luther King Drive exit ramp and the ramp from the northbound Stevenson to southbound Lake Shore Drive will be closed.
• The inbound Stevenson will still be reduced to one lane noon to 3 p.m., but drivers will be moved to the right lane. The ramp from the northbound Stevenson to northbound Lake Shore Drive will be closed.
