CRIME IN CHICAGO: WHAT HAPPENED IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD IN 2016

By Tanveer Ali | December 22, 2016 5:42am | Updated on December 26, 2016 6:15am

CHICAGO — How has the crime rate changed in your neighborhood?

The map below shows crimes recorded in each Chicago Police Department beat between January and November of each year since 2013. December data wasn't included because December 2016 isn't complete.

The data goes back to 2013 because that's the first full year when the current police beat boundaries went into effect.

Choose a type of crime and a year to see how many times that crime was reported in Chicago. Click on a police beat to find more information.
