CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was wounded during a shooting in Back of the Yards on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
At 2:19 p.m., the man was sitting in a parked car in the 4600 block of South Halsted Street when another car drove up and someone inside fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his back and arm and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
The shooter drove off and no one was in custody, police said.
