CHICAGO — A shooting in Humboldt Park wounded a 21-year-old man during a robbery on Wednesday night, police said.
At 7:56 p.m., the man was sitting inside a car in the 500 block of North Spaulding Avenue when someone walked up, showed the man a gun and said he or she was robbing the man, police said.
The thief shot the man in his arm and torso and took some of his belongings during the robbery, police said. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition.
No one was in custody.
