CHICAGO — A man has been breaking into and burglarizing restaurants in McKinley Park and Gage Park, police said.
At least two restaurants have been broken into in the area since Monday, police said in a community alert.
The break-ins happened:
• early Monday morning in the 3100 block of South Ashland in McKinley Park
• early Monday morning in the 2700 block of West 55th Street
Police described the burglar as a black man, aged 25 to 32 years, standing 6 feet to 6-foot-3 and weighing between 135 and 150 pounds.
