CHICAGO — A 15-year-old boy was shot and wounded in Garfield Park on Tuesday morning, police said.
At 9:31 a.m., the boy was standing at the corner of Jackson Boulevard and Kostner Avenue when someone in a white car fired shots at him, police said.
The boy was hit in his left ring finger and ran to the 4300 block of West Adams Street, where someone called 911, police said.
The boy was taken to Loretto Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody.
