CHICAGO — A group of students from Chicago high schools, including Whitney Young, Brooks College Prep and Simeon helped remove invasive plant species from Dan Ryan Woods over the weekend.
The group participated in a service day led by the Field Museum group "Calumet Is My Back Yard," which works with hundreds of city high school students to "improve natural sites" on the South Side.
