CHICAGO — A dispute between two roommates in Edgewater led to a standoff with a SWAT team over the weekend, according to police.

At around 3:36 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a call of a disturbance between two roommates in the 5800 block of North Paulina Avenue, police said.

One of the men involved in the dispute locked himself in a room which police believed may have contained weapons, police said. A SWAT team was then called to the scene, police said.

The man eventually came out and was put into custody, police said.

No further information was available.
