AUSTIN— Shaqwon Stidhun, 19, was shot dead in Austin on Friday, officials said.
At 3:17 p.m., the man was in the 5500 block of West Crystal Street when two men from an older car walked up and shot him, police said.
The man was taken to Loyola Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
Stidhun, of the 5400 block of West Crystal Street, was pronounced dead at 4:07 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one is in custody, police said.
