EDGEWATER — Need something to do on the Far North Side this weekend?

Whether looking to de-stress or get last-minute holiday shopping done, Edgewater has you covered.

Check out these four weekend events to keep your spirits merry and bright.

Remix Chicago's Holiday Market At Broadway Armory: From 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Remix Chicago will hold a holiday market at the Broadway Armory, 5917 N. Broadway. The event will feature crafts and items made by Chicago artists across the city, including these sweet coffee mugs and much more.

Pop-Up Shop At The Edgewater Beach Apartments: Another great place to check out goods and scope out potential holiday gifts is the pop-up shop from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the former Anna Held Flower Shop at the base of the Edgewater Beach Apartments building (Sheridan and Bryn Mawr). Over the summer, the space housed Lickity Split for Friday night food trucks in the neighborhood.

Edgewater Singers Free Holiday Concert At St. Gertrude's Church: If you thought holiday songs were all about Christmas carols, check out the Edgewater Singers at their annual holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Held at St. Gertrude's Church, 1420 W. Granville Ave., the free concert will explore the songs that highlight holiday traditions from "the many waves of immigrants who have made Edgewater their first home in America," according to organizers.

"Festivus For The Breast Of Us" Holiday Burlesque And Drag Revue At Call Bar: Holiday shopping not your thing, or have something for everyone on your list already? Treat yourself with a holiday burlesque and drag revue from the Dirty Bird Burlesque dancers. The naughty show begins at 9 p.m. at Call Bar, 1547 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. but has a nice caveat: Proceeds help to benefit Care For Real's community pantry.
