BUCKTOWN —  Pavilion Antiques & 20th Century Design will host its annual holiday soiree and gift shopping bonanza on Thursday night, featuring vintage silver cocktail shakers, jewelry, tableware, watercolor paintings and more.

Set for 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Pavilion, 2055 N. Damen Ave., the gathering will also include refreshments and a chance to hob nob with other movers and shakers in the art and design community.

"Perhaps you will find an amazing small treasure from our small holiday selections well priced table of real finds. Or some special piece of art from our gallery artists," curator Deborah Colman wrote on the event's Facebook page.

Among the highlights will be Cleveland Dean's Sumi ink watercolors that Colman says will be "a gift worth remembering," as [Dean] is just back from Art Basel where he had a debut show; Lukas Machnik's minimalist drawings and SOHA concept's blackened Russian oak serving vessels.

The gallery will also feature Elliot Bergman's drawings and small bronze sculptures; Phillip Michael Arts' collection of ethnographic art and design; Hvnter Gvtherer (Laura Prieto Velasco), who will present her jewelry plus a historical archive installation; and Solv Gallery's Danish and Nordic modern silver jewelry.

Watch a video of Prieto Velasco creating her bronze porous tableware, which is also displayed at Pavilion.
