CHICAGO — Shootings on the West Side wounded two men Thursday afternoon, according to police.

At 3:16 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Belmont Cragin, police said.

The man was sitting in a parked car in the 2200 block of North Cicero Avenue when he heard shots coming from behind his car, police said. He was grazed in the head and was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious condition, police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

At 1:15 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in West Garfield Park, police said.

He was sitting in a parked car in the 400 block of North Springfield Avenue when he was shot in his face, police said. First responders took the man to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not released but police considered the man to be stable.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

No arrests have been made.
