MORGAN PARK — Santa Claus will take to the ice from 3:30-4:50 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Morgan Park Sports Center.
It will cost $5 for adults, $4 for children 12 and younger and $2 for seniors to skate at the holiday event at 11505 S. Western Ave. Skate rental costs $3.
The event will include holiday music and cookie decorating in a winter wonderland area.
Organizers of the event include Ald. Matt O'Shea (19th), state Rep. Fran Hurley (D-35th), state Sen. Bill Cunningham (D-18th) as well as the 19th Ward Youth Foundation, SMG and the Chicago Park District.
