Man Charged In Thanksgiving Day Andersonville Shooting, Police Say

ANDERSONVILLE — A man has been charged in the Thanksgiving Day shooting of another man, police said. 

At 3:27 a.m. on Nov. 24, officers responded to a domestic incident and discovered that a man had been shot. Another man on the scene admitted to officers he shot the victim, police said.  

A 56-year-old man was shot in his stomach and leg during the incident, police said.

Georgie Harris, 54, of the 5300 block of North Paulina St., was charged with misdemeanor possession of a gun without a FOID card.
