CHICAGO — Two people have died and four other people were injured in two separate crashes on the Dan Ryan Expressway since Saturday night.

Two drivers were killed in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday on the Dan Ryan Expressway near 43rd Street, the Tribune reported.

At 2:55 a.m., one of the vehicles rear-ended another car, and both drivers were pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Tribune. Police did not immediately provide identities of the drivers. Neither driver had passengers in their vehicles.

Before the incident, police had received reports of a reckless driver, who is believed to be the motorist who caused the crash, said the Tribune.

On Saturday night, four people were injured in a separate single-vehicle rollover crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway on the South Side, the Sun-Times reported.

The crash happened shortly before midnight on the Chinatown feeder ramp from the inbound Dan Ryan.

All four people were taken to Stroger Hospital, where two people are listed in critical condition and two are listed in good condition, reported the Sun-Times.
