ROGERS PARK — Perhaps nothing is as unpredictable in Chicago as the weather.

One thing residents can count on, however, is the city making good on its overnight parking ban during the winter.

The bans, which run throughout the city, are meant to ensure snow plows can clear main streets during the cold months, though vehicles will still be towed to 701 N. Sacramento Ave. even if there is no snow.

Clark Street will be off-limits to park from 3-7 a.m. now through April 1 all the way from Devon Avenue to Howard Street.

Those who do park on Clark during those hours will face a $60 ticket, a minimum of $150 in towing fees and $20 per day in storage fees.
