Christopher Brandon-Lucket, 16, Killed In North Lawndale, Police Say

NORTH LAWNDALE— A 16-year-old boy who was critically wounded in a shooting in North Lawndale on Friday died on Saturday, officials said. 

At 6:13 p.m., the boy was inside a home with two people in the 1500 block of South Kedzie Avenue when a gunshot was heard and the teen was hit, police said.

The teen was shot in his face and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The boy was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Officer as Christopher Brandon-Lucket. Brandon-Lucket, of the 1800 block of North Fairfield Avenue, was pronounced dead at 2:19 a.m. on Saturday.

No one was in custody.
