CHICAGO — Two teenagers were wounded in separate shootings on the South Side Thursday afternoon, according to police.

At 4:50 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in West Pullman, police said.

The teen was walking in the 11600 block of South Lowe Avenue when a red car drove up and someone inside began firing, police said. He was grazed in his hand and leg and was taken to Roseland Community Hospital in good condition, police said.

At 2:09 p.m., a 19-year-old man was wounded in a Chicago Lawn shooting, police said.

The man was outside in the 6300 block of South Kedzie Avenue when someone walked up and began firing before running away, police said. He was struck in his head, chest and shoulder and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in grave condition, police said.

No arrests were made in either case, police said.
