Chicago Police Warn Chinatown, Bronzeville Residents Of Armed Robberies

CHICAGO—Police are warning residents of four strong armed robberies in Chinatown and Bronzeville that have taken place in November.

In the incidents, a man approached the victim(s) and demanded their property.

Police said the burglaries happened:

• 2600 Block of South Princeton Avenue on Monday,  Nov.14 in the late evening hours.

• 2300 Block of South Princeton Avenue on Friday, Nov. 18 in the evening hours.

• 2200 Block of South Princeton Avenue on Sunday, Nov. 20 in the early morning hours.

• 2800 Block of South LaSalle Street on Wednesday, Nov. 23, in the evening hours.

• 200 Block of West 24th Street on Wednesday, Nov. 23 in the evening hours.

Police said the offenders are described as a black males, between the ages of 18 and 26 years old, between 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-11 inches tall and weighing 150 to 160 pounds. The suspect(s) had dreadlocks or Mohawk hairstyle, and wore masks.
