UPTOWN — Uptown's chamber of commerce will host the third annual Winter Walk on Wilson this week.

From 5-7 p.m. Friday, neighbors are invited to visit Santa and enjoy treats, warm drinks and live holiday music at business along Wilson Avenue, according to a press release for the event.

Participating businesses include: Everybody's Coffee, Tesfa - Ethiopian Cuisine, Palla's Grill, Emerald City Uptown, Eats and Sweets Cafe (hosted by Aardvark Insurance Agency), Pokiology, Baker and Nosh, Kal'ish, The Public Barber and Heritage Outpost.

Live music will be provided by: Chicago Artist's Chorale, Irish Music School of Chicago, Kreyol Roots, Lakeside Pride and Old Town School of Folk Music.

The event will conclude with a tree lighting at Baker and Nosh, 1303 W. Wilson Ave. at 7 p.m. The bakery will be offering hot cocoa and the Chicago Artist's Chorale will be performing carols, the release said.
