Auburn Gresham Shooting Wounds Man, 21, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Auburn Gresham wounded a 21-year-old man on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

At 2:20 p.m., the man was in the 7900 block of South Ashland Avenue when he was shot in his back, police said. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in fair condition.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

No one was in custody.
