CHICAGO — The Edgebrook Community Association will host an open meeting with U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley (D-5th) at the Edgebrook Public Library, 5331 W. Devon Ave., Monday evening.
Quigley will bring attendees "up to date on significant issues" then take questions, according to the association.
The hour-long meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Quigley represents a significant chunk of the city's North and Northwest sides, stretching from River West to O'Hare, in addition to some western suburbs.
This month, the congressman received more than 65 percent of the vote in his re-election, earning a fifth term in office. He was first elevated to the 5th District seat in the House by a special election in 2009, after his predecessor, current Mayor Rahm Emanuel, was plucked to be President Barack Obama's chief of staff.
