CHICAGO — A 26-year-old man was shot in Portage Park Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
At 4:05 p.m., the man was in the 5700 block of West Irving Park Road when he was shot in the ankle, police said.
He managed to get himself to Swedish Covenant Hospital, where his condition was not released but police said he was stable.
No arrests have been made.
