BEVERLY — The Beverly Hills Turkey Trot will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The eighth annual 5K run and family walk through North Beverly begins at 9 a.m. at Christ the King School's gymnasium at 9235 S. Hamilton Ave. Packet pickup and same-day registration in the church's parish center begins at 7 a.m.

The PrivateBank sponsors the event and registration can be done online. Participants can also pick up their number, race shirt and other packet items from noon-5 p.m. Friday at the 19th Ward Office, 10402 S. Western Ave. in Beverly.

It costs $30 to run or walk the race, and participants younger than 18 can join in for $20. Both prices increase by $5 for those that register on race day. A family registration is also available for $60 ahead of the event and $75 on race day.

A family pancake breakfast at Christ the King will immediately follow the race at 10 a.m. More than 2,000 runners, walkers and spectators are expected to participate in the turkey trot.
