CHICAGO — You get could hit with a rainy commute to work Wednesday morning.
Showers will start between midnight and 1 a.m. Wednesday and last until well into the day, said AccuWeather meteorologist Paul Walker, though the rain should be spottier by the afternoon.
The storm is expected to drop up to three-quarters of an inch of rain on the city, Walker said, which is typical for this time of year.
There's a possibility it could storm again late Thursday or early Friday, but it doesn't look like there will be much rain, Walker said.
