CHICAGO — Simion Jackson, 21, was shot dead in Englewood Saturday morning, officials said.
At 9:15 a.m., police found the man unresponsive in the 6700 block of South Morgan Street, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man was hit in his head, Estrada said.
Jackson, of the 3800 block of West Ferdinand, was pronounced dead at 9:30 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died of multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
No one was in custody.
