CHICAGO — Four people were wounded in an Austin shooting late Friday, according to police.
At around 10:15 p.m., the group was sitting in a parked car in the 5000 block of West Wabansia Avenue when someone in another car began firing at them, police said.
A 21-year-old man was struck in his right hand and grazed in his head and was taken to Stroger Hospital in what police were calling "stable" condition.
A 17-year-old girl was struck in her right knee and right wrist and was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition.
An 18-year-old woman was struck in her right hip and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition.
A 21-year-old man was shot in his right hip and was also taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition, police said. He was a documented gang member, according to a police source.
No arrests have been made.
