By David Matthews | November 15, 2016 5:18am

NAVY PIER — It may not feel like it yet, but winter is coming.

Tickets are on sale now for Navy Pier's Winter WonderFest. The festival featuring games and an indoor ice rink will run from Dec. 2 to Jan. 8.

Once again, the festival will feature an indoor ice rink that made its outdoor debut this summer, an "Arctic Express" train, as well as the "Cliff Hanger," a ride that allows guests to whirl horizontally 40 feet in the air:

Mini-passes with limited access to attractions cost $10, while full passes cost $25. Children under three feet tall get free admission. Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the Navy Pier box office.

The WonderFest will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The fest also has special holiday hours, but is closed on Christmas Day:

•Dec. 5-8: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

•Christmas Eve: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

•Christmas Day: closed
