Lorenzo Dixon, 31, Killed In Garfield Park Shooting, Officials Say

CHICAGO — Lorenzo Dixon, 31, was shot dead in Garfield Park early Saturday, officials said.

At 3:21 a.m., the man was in the 100 block of South California Avenue when he was shot in his face, leg and arm, police said.

The man was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Dixon, of the same block where he was killed, was pronounced dead at 3:53 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

No one was in custody.
