How Did Uptown Vote?

UPTOWN — All Uptown precincts voted blue Tuesday night, but there were still many votes for America's new president.

To be exact, Donald Trump received 2,484 votes or 9.1 percent of ballots cast in the Uptown precincts.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton received 23,646 votes or 86.5 percent.

Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson received between 2-4 percent of the votes, doing his best in the southern part of Uptown's precincts.

In some parts of the neighborhood Trump did much better than others. In the 11th precinct he received about 21 percent of the votes, while in the 35th he received 16 percent.

Hillary also hit 90 percent the 26th and 4th precincts.

Citywide, Clinton received 865,075 votes or about 84 percent. Trump received 129,814 votes or about 13 percent.
