CHICAGO — A 26-year-old man was wounded in a Morgan Park shooting early Wednesday, according to police.

At 11:04 a.m., the man was in the 10800 block of South Sangamon Street when someone in a passing silver Chevrolet Crossover began firing, police said. The car then drove away on Northbound Halsted Street, police said.

He was struck in his left calf and was taken to an area hospital in good condition, police said.
