CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man was critically wounded in a Back of the Yards shooting on Tuesday, police said.
At 1:45 p.m., the man was walking in the 1800 block of West 45th Street when someone walked up to him from behind and fired shots, police said.
The man was hit multiple times in his back and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
The man was a documented gang member, police sources said.
