CHICAGO — A 78-year-old man was left in serious condition after a West Englewood shooting Sunday evening, according to police.

At 7:10 p.m., the man was in a car in the 7100 block of South Laflin Street when someone pulled him out of the car and shot him, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

He was struck in his head and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, Estrada said.

No arrests have been made, he said.
