CHICAGO — Cubs fans were baffled Friday morning while awaiting the start of the victory parade by an aerial banner proclaiming: "CHINESE AMERICANS FOR TRUMP GO CUBS."
The banner is the latest in a series that have been popping up across the country, including sightings in Washington, California and Florida.

The group Chinese Americans for Trump has chapters in 30 states and been funding aerial banners across the country, after one member in Arizona, who is also a pilot, recommended the sky-high campaign to founder David Tian Wang of California, according to KUOW.org.
Wang told the radio station that the banners have two purposes: to advocate for his preferred candidate, and also to encourage Chinese-American voter turnout in general, on either side of the aisle.
