NORWOOD PARK — TLC First Animal Hospital, 6468 N. Milwaukee Ave., will open its doors to both current and prospective pet owners during its Eighth Annual Open House event Sunday.

From 11 a.m.-4 p.m., the hospital staff will host community members for refreshments, goodie bag treats (for both pets and their owners) and kids' games, according to receptionist Judy Bizzotto.

The event is an opportunity to "reach out to prospective clients and thank all our current clients who are already here," Bizzotto said.

Rescue agencies will also bring shelter dogs, cats and guinea pigs available for adoption, Bizzotto added.

A station will be set up to accept donations of used pet supplies like leashes, collars and dog beds.
