CHICAGO — Leave your booze at home if you plan on going to the Cubs victory parade and rally in Wrigleyville and Downtown Friday.

The World Series-winning Cubs are expected to leave Wrigleyville around 11 a.m. before heading through the neighborhood and Downtown, where a rally will be held at Grant Park around noon, according to the city.

Security will be heavy for the event, the city said.

Those seeking to head into Grant Park for the rally must pass through security checkpoints at Michigan and Congress and Michigan and Jackson, according to the city.

Closed water bottles will be allowed into the rally. Food vendors will be on site, the city said.

There will be zero tolerance for drinking along the parade route, the city said.

The Cubs will leave Wrigley Field and travel east down Addison Street then Lake Shore Drive to Michigan Avenue, then Columbus Drive between Monroe Street and Balbo Avenue. The city didn't release some of the cross streets to make the connections to the larger arterials.

The official "Downtown" portion of the parade will start at 11 a.m., with the Cubs leaving Wrigley at 10 a.m.

The rally will take place at Lower Hutchinson Field in Grant Park, starting at approximately noon. It is free to the public.

Those taking the CTA should know that bicycles are not allowed on "L" trains and are allowed only on buses with front bike racks. Officials ask that strollers be folded before boarding.
